OUR TEAM

Picture
Our leadership team is made up of amazing women that are led and coached by LIV's Founder & CEO, Ciara Wimby. These women hold leadership roles in their families as mothers and wives, in business as coaches and entrepreneurs, and in the community as health and wellness professionals. While bringing their own level of experience, through teamwork they learn how to either improve or develop their leadership capabilities by serving to support LIV You's mission locally, nationally, and globally.

BIO
Hi, I'm Ciara! I am a wellness advocate, author, adviser, entrepreneur, and founder of LIV You. I have over 10 years of experience healing myself naturally.

As a youth, while undiagnosed, I suffered high levels of anxiety which attributed to my shyness and fearful attitude in participating in group activities and social functions. In my 20s, I  was diagnosed with several types Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (Inflammatory Bowel Disorder, Ulcerative Colitis, Sever Ulcerative Colitis, and finally Sever Crohn's Disease), an auto immune disorder that cause chronic inflammation in the digestive track. For two years I was unable to work and received Social Security benefit as I was thought of never to be able to return to the workforce because of my disability.

Refusing to accept this life long sentence of isolation, I turned to homeopathic remedies to heal after rejecting the recommendation from doctors to have surgery and have my colon removed. Intuitively knowing I could heal my, I began with changing my behaviors to return to healthy eating, incorporating a yoga practice, and positive thinking. I returned to work as an accountant, and began to slowly remove myself from all medications. And since 2004 I not taken any medications and continue to manage any of my body's imbalances naturally.

In my path to healing, during her 30s over an eight year span I suffered the loss of my mom to a stroke, a brief 3-year marriage ending in divorce, and the loss of my dad to cancer. To help me cope through these tragedies, I turned to my yoga practice as the foundation of my support. Through my pain more passion was born and I developed the Live Project: Achieve Your Goals and Dreams through the Practice of Yoga, to help myself and others stay focused on living a meaningful and happy lives even through life's challenges.  Later I renamed the Live Project to LIV Your Truth through Yoga, LIV's signature foundation course, because I realized I was teaching people to love, value, and inspire themselves as well as others. I knew I had a strong desire to continue on the path of healing and wanted to give more, this idea then led to the birth of LIV You Nonprofit. And I continue to expand my knowledge in healing practices.

CICELY BECKAM
BIO
Hi, I'm Cicely! My journey towards community outreach began at a young age. At the age of twelve, I traveled to Africa to assist in teaching young child to read and write. This opportunity ignited my passion for helping others. The passion continued into adulthood, where I have assisted many with their career development while they endured living in under privileged communities and now assist many on a collegiate admission advisory level.

I am a single mother of one, currently pursuing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Native of Chicago, IL now residing in Phoenix, Arizona. I hold a Bachelors in Communications from Howard University and Masters of Arts in Human Resource Management from Argosy University.

I am dedicated to helping others not only with job development, but also shedding light on mental illness in urban communities and self-preservation. My travels to many cities and abroad has shown me that social economic deficits are
worldwide and the need for life skills are in high demand. My motto of “my people perish from lack of knowledge” drives my theory “each one, reach one, teach one.”

We are deserving of wonderful opportunities. I am here to remind women that it is okay to stand up for yourself. It is okay to stand in your truth. It is okay to verbalize and face the different obstacles that harmed or hindered the woman you are meant to be. For women who are wanting to ready to truly heal through spiritual, love, and most importantly accountability, I am here to help you discovered the beautiful woman you were always mean to be.
